Classlist: Common Problems
Empty Classlist? Carmen may remember the most recent search you performed, even if you leave the Classlist and later return to it.
- If you access your Classlist and find that all or some of the students are missing, use the Search for: option located at the top of the Classlist. You can search first name (F. Name), last name (L. Name) or email address.
- Once you have searched for a student and none were found in your class matching that name, your Classlist will continue to display this "none found list" until you click the link to Clear Search.
Missing students? The roster displayed in your Classlist is updated each day based on adds/drops completed the previous day and updated by the Registrar's office. These updates typically are completed by noon. However, there may be occasional delays in waiting for new students to appear in the system, especially during busy times for the Registrar, such as the beginning of the quarter.
- For the most up-to-date rosters, visit the Registrar's web site at Registrar's Faculty Center.
- For upcoming terms, you may not see students appear until about five weeks prior to the start of the term.
