Grades: Record, Calculate and Release Grades

Show me Activate Course Show me Entering Grades, Calculating Final Grades, and Releasing and Submitting Grades.

After setting up your Gradebook, you can use it to record, calculate, and release grades.

You can record grades by student, or by grade category or item. You can also switch to the Spreadsheet view to enter grades. See Recording Grades for instructions.

Grade items and final grades can be exported or imported in CSV (comma separated values) format for use with other applications, such as Microsoft Excel. See Export to CSV from Grades and Import into Grades from CSV for instructions.

See Submitting Final Grades to the Registrar to transfer grades to the Registrar's Faculty Center. After exporting grades from Carmen to the Faculty Center, you MUST go to the Faculty Center to post the grades for them to be officially recorded.
