Locker: Basic

If you work on multiple computers, use your locker to store and access personal files. You can store upt to 10 MB of files (word processing, spreadsheet, zip files, and graphics documents) in your Locker. Monitor your remaining locker space in the Locker Usage frame.

Attention All files that are stored in your locker are confidential and can only be accessed by you, unless you set a file to public.

Click Locker in the Navigation Bar to open your Locker. If Locker is not available, you will need to add it to the navigation bar.

Add Locker to Navigation Bar

Attention Locker is not a default option for the Course Home page. To access Locker, you must first add the Locker button to the Navigation Bar.

To add Locker:

1. Click Edit Course on home page you want to add Locker to.

2. Click NavBars under Manage Course Offering.

3. Select tab of the area in the Navigation Bar you want to put the Locker button. The choices are: Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right.

4. Under Inactive Links is a list of buttons you can add to the your Course Home page. Select Locker and click the > button. This will move Locker from Inactive Links to Current Active Links.

5. Click Save.

Attention You can add more than one option at a time by selecting which button you want to add and clicking >.

Add a File

1. Open your Locker.

2. Click Upload New File.

3. Click Browse and find the file to upload.

4. Click Upload.

5. Click Return to Locker or click Upload New File if you want to add another file.

Retrieve a File

1. Open your locker.

2. Right-click the file name you wish to download.

3. Select Save Target As...

4. Specify where you want to save the file on your computer.

5. Click Save.

Edit Properties

1. Open your locker.

2. Select a file.

3. Click Edit.

4. Type or edit the Description.

5. Click Save to return to the Locker page.

Delete a File

1. Open your locker.

2. Select the file(s) you want to delete.

3. Click Delete.
