Use the News widget on your Course Home to share short announcements with your students and to set the tone for each week. Here are some tips:

Each week, post the session topic with a QuickLink to the readings or discussion topic for the week.

Post reminders about upcoming assignments and due dates.
- Share news and announcements, including links to relevant websites.
Set up your News widget to read RSS sources -- it will update automatically as the RSS feed changes. For example, share the Word of the Day from Dictionary.com or news headlines from the New York Times. See RSS Feeds for instructions.
