Carmen for Students
To access your Carmen courses, go to carmen.osu.edu and log in with your OSU internet username. Students whose instructors use Carmen will find their courses listed under My Courses on the Carmen main page. (It may be necessary to click the [+] in front of the headings for quarter and/or department to reveal links to available courses.)
Carmen for Instructors, Staff, and TAs
Carmen automatically creates a blank course shell for every course in the Registrar's Master Schedule. Each course shell comes complete with a class roster and a set of course tools. Instructors can activate their course shells when ready for student access. Go to carmen.osu.edu and log in with your OSU internet username to access your courses.
Carmen Workshops for Instructors
For help getting started, TELR highly recommends attending a short Carmen workshop, held at convenient locations across campus. Go to Workshops for Instructors, Staff, and TAs for a schedule and registration.
Carmen Space by Request
Although course shells are created automatically for courses listed in the Registrar's Master Schedule, Carmen is also available to members of the OSU community for other University purposes. See the Carmen Info website for information.
